ReadComics Podcast #049 – Book Club #19 – So Super-Duper

This book club podcast about the first ten issues of the comic book So Super Duper features Marty, Florence, Jason, Angela, and Susie. We talk about our impressions of the comic.

“So Super Duper” is a cute story about a character named Psyche, a new-ish Super Hero who isn’t quite as super as everyone else on his team. Psyche slowly discovers that his lack of superheroness may not be the only thing that is different about him.

    I can’t remember whether I forgot to mention during the podcast that one of the things I really enjoyed while reading the comic (though not about the comic itself) were all the links in the backs of the issues. I wanted to take notes at the time, but (as we mentioned), we were on a plane. I made a mental note to go back through the issues and pull out all the interesting looking links to the various gay superhero comics, to write a post about all of them. I’ll have to do that sometime…
